About Us
Penzion Quest is a family-run guesthouse in the historic center of Loket, near Karlovy Vary. Since 2014, the owner personally manages the guesthouse with a small team, providing guests with attentive daily care and a personal touch.
The guesthouse is within walking distance of Loket Castle, the Ohře River, and local cafés and restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring the town and the surrounding nature.
We place great emphasis on breakfast – served buffet-style with homemade jams, spreads, pastries, and baked goods. Our goal is not lavish luxury, but honest accommodation, a peaceful atmosphere, and a pleasant stay in one of the most beautiful historic towns in the Czech Republic.
The interior of the guesthouse combines stone, wood, and natural light. Rooms feature bio-ethanol fireplaces that create a cozy evening ambiance, and the spaces are designed to feel natural and unpretentious.

History
Loket is a small historic town that has preserved its original character to this day.
It was established in the 13th century and, thanks to its location above the Ohře River, has always held an important place in history. Overlooking the town stands Loket Castle, which has been here for centuries.
Charles IV also stayed in Loket, and it is evident when walking through the town – narrow streets, stone houses, and the calm that has remained. It is a place where you can slow down and simply enjoy wandering and observing your surroundings.
